The content for this playlist is: "A young man in a Lakers jersey with dyed red braids strides past a door that reads "Stage Left." AUDIENCE: Yachty! Yachty! Yachty! Filming with their phones, a large audience of young people crowds barriers in front of the stage. Some jump up and down. AUDIENCE: Yachty! Yachty! Yachty! Yachty! On the darkened stage, Lil Yachty holds a microphone. LIL YACHTY: Hello, hello. Hello? Over a black screen, the voice echoes. Then, a tropical beat plays as a view travels past towering palm trees. The sun shines over houses crowding a hillside. LIL YACHTY: You know, when the state tour first started, I was real proud. A Mercedes van pulls into a driveway. LIL YACHTY: I mean, I'm still proud. A bodyguard stands by as Lil Yachty climbs out of the van. LIL YACHTY: But, I mean just, like, it's just, it's your life. You're a performer. That's what you do, you know? Wearing clear beads at the end of his red braids and gold chains over a black tee-shirt, Lil Yachty stares at the driveway. Later, he sits in a living room in front of a blonde woman with papers. Behind her, a man films. LIL YACHTY: Some people wake up and go to an office. Lil Yachty stares down the camera as the man adjusts the settings. Then, Lil Yachty interviews. LIL YACHTY: I get in front of a crowd of people and play music. I go to a studio and make songs, I don't know. Palm trees stretch into a cloudless sky. A distorted voice from an R&B song sings over a beat. A balcony view finds Lil Yachty and a photo crew in a backyard. LIL YACHTY (singing): How long? A photographer takes a photo of Lil Yachty with a yellow mesh scarf draped on either side of his head. Then, in hazy sunlight, the photographer stands over Lil Yachty as he snaps another photo. Someone snaps a clapperboard in front of Lil Yachty in the driveway. He smirks. MAN: (laughs) LIL YACHTY: Hey, it's Lil Yachty, you feel me? He smiles with gold teeth and waves to the back yard with the yellow scarf. LIL YACHTY: So, just got done with that. The shoot was cool. So now we finna go to the Strip. Round Two, my favorite store. We finna go cop some, you know, some swag. So, you know, I show you how I shop. He heads toward the van. Later, a view travels down a highway. In the van, Lil Yachty checks his phone. The back of his leather phone case reads "Boat" in gold lettering. A guy in the back of the van grins. LIL YACHTY: I literally lived the exact same lifestyle when I was at my mom's house. Lil Yachty laughs in the van. Back at the house, he interviews. LIL YACHTY: Like, I literally don't -- It almost seems fake, but I don't do nothing differently. Lil Yachty climbs out of the van onto a sidewalk and a hip-hop beat plays. LIL YACHTY: Like, I forget that I'm a rapper half the time. I forget that I can't just walk in public places. I forget I can't just get out my bed and just run to the mall to grab something. Lil Yachty interviews. On the Strip, a camera crew lingers around him near a sign for an ATM. In a store, he surveys a wall filled with shelves of sneakers. Another guy holds a stack of cash. Lil Yachty interviews. LIL YACHTY: Like, I literally forget these things all the time. At night, a crowd gathers near a store. Cheering, they take pictures and film with their phones as Lil Yachty gets out of the van. MALE INTERVIEWER: Why do you think that, like, teens and the youth are so attracted to--I won't even just say your music, but, like, your movement? Lil Yachty interviews. LIL YACHTY: 'Cause they can relate to me. I think they feel like they see themselves in me. A long line of teens stretches down a block. They wait, laugh in groups, and tap on their phones. LIL YACHTY: They just understand what I talk about sometimes and what I'm going through, whatever I'm expressing. A Lil Yachty song plays as Lil Yachty signs the inside brim of a baseball cap. He poses for a photo, then signs the back of a kid's tee-shirt. The boy takes a photo of him, then Lil Yachty interviews. LIL YACHTY: I just, I love the youth. I love the young, I do. They're cooler than me, so. In camo pants and red sneakers, Lil Yachty walks a hallway backstage. LIL YACHTY: I'm the same person I was year ago, you know? In a venue, a crowd waits, watching the stage. Lil Yachty interviews. LIL YACHTY: I'm the same person as that person looking up to me. I go on stage and I do my thing and kill it, but like, you know, I'm just like anybody else. The excited crowd jumps and sings along. On stage, Lil Yachty jumps and raps into a microphone. Teens film on their phones as laser lights flash. LIL YACHTY: Only difference is all these cameras around me, but I just--I do me, you know? Lil Yachty sprays water across the excited audience. He interviews. LIL YACHTY: A big part of doing me is, you know, living tobacco-free. A hand holds a phone above the cheering audience to film a video of Lil Yachty on stage. He jumps in unison with the crowd. LIL YACHTY: When I tell rappers, other big rappers in the game, they actually applaud me. SD : Interviewing, Lil Yachty straightens in his chair. LIL YACHTY: Like, "That's good, man. I respect you." You know? Every time, that's always the answer. Hundred percent. It's "Dang, man. I wish I could do that." Or, "Dang, man. I respect you." It's always a positive response. Lil Yachty and another performer splash water from bottles over the raging crowd. Interviewing, Lil Yachty shakes his head. LIL YACHTY: I'm trying to stay in this game for a long time, and can't nothing get in the way of that. A triangle-shaped graphic with a star unfolds to reveal a logo over footage of the concert. More logos appear for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. ON SCREEN TEXT: FRESH EMPIRE KEEP IT FRESH. In a long-sleeved tee-shirt with flags between the words "Lil Yachty" and "The Boat Show," a young man with dyed red beaded braids takes a seat. With orange camo pants and wearing a gold chain, he slings an arm over the back of the chair. A simple piano tune plays. LIL YACHTY: Hey, what's up? This is Lil Boat. MALE INTERVIEWER: Hold on! Hold on! Behind a camera and bright lights, another guy sits in a director's chair. INTERVIEWER: What's going on with this background? Lil Yachty looks behind him, then shakes his head. LIL YACHTY: Aw, naw, naw, naw, naw, naw. We gotta do this my way. The Yachty way. Uhh...In space! His voice echoes over a laser sound as the background changes to outer space. His chair floats in front of a fiery sun, glowing earth, shooting stars, and orbiting slices of pepperoni pizza. Lil Yachty peers around at colorful blazing comets, then back down at his lap, thinking. LIL YACHTY: No. In space under water. He claps, and a tropical beat plays as the space background is overlaid with rippling water, a rusty anchor, and a bright coral reef. Lil Yachty looks around as a cartoon dolphin laughs. LIL YACHTY: Yeah. Naw, naw. And the sun banging trap. On his right, a glowing circle appears and pulses to a beat. A couple cartoon sharks swim past. LIL YACHTY: With, umm, with raining macaroni! He claps, then finds himself standing with an umbrella as macaroni rains down and piles on the coral reef. Lil Yachty looks around and smiles. LIL YACHTY: Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. Now we can start. Lil Yachty grabs a cartoon noodle and eats it! Later, the simple piano tune returns over a hip-hop beat as he rows a rowboat through a sea of macaroni. Behind him, outer space looms and a cliff with purple trees has a macaroni waterfall. He grins, then wipes his forehead. LIL YACHTY: Yo, what's up? It's Lil Yachty AKA Lil Boat, the king of the teens, coming straight from Atlanta. And I'm chilling with the Fresh Empire fam. And, as you can see, I'm doing my own thing as always. This is my wave. A cartoon whale jumps, then spouts macaroni out its blowhole and sends Lil Yachty's rowboat flying! Lil Yachty flies through the air, past clouds that look like pink cotton candy. INTERVIEWER: Tell 'em how you fit in today's music world. The cotton candy clouds pixilate over a retro video-game landscape and Lil Yachty lands on one. Then, video game sound effects play as he jumps from cloud to cloud. LIL YACHTY: I don't. I'm my own lane. I started this sound. I went up against the giants who said I would never do it. A pixilated video game alien rises up, and Lil Yachty jumps over it. He slams his fist against a box with the Fresh Empire logo and a pot overflowing with gold chains pops out. LIL YACHTY: Now look. I made it to the pot of gold chains. Standing on a cotton-candy cloud, a dozen pots of gold chains sprout around him. INTERVIEWER: Tell 'em about your live shows. Lil Yachty hops down clouds. LIL YACHTY: Oh, my shows? They already know. When I go on stage, they go animal. The background becomes a cartoon stage with shining spotlights and neon yellow letters spelling YACHTY. Lil Yachty dances in front of a pixilated video game crowd. LIL YACHTY: We wild out. Everybody be turnt. No attitudes, we vibin'. No beefin', we winnin'. Lil Yachty sits on the chair in front of the green screen filled with floating pizza slices. LIL YACHTY: And no running out of pizza, 'cause we forever eatin'. Lil Yachty looms over a cloudy city landscape. The word TOBACCO hovers above the grey buildings. Lil Yachty throws water balloons at the letters. LIL YACHTY: And no cigarettes 'cause, 'cause we livin'. Lil Yachty sits in front of a bright cityscape background. LIL YACHTY: Imma live my life as long as I can. Cigarettes can take 10 years off my life? Water rises up, flooding the cityscape. LIL YACHTY: Naw. In outer space, a saucer zooms around a fiery red planet, then stops. LIL YACHTY: I ain't gonna let cigs take 10 years off my life, like this alien won't stop copying my style. The saucer shoots a laser at the red planet and blows it up. An alien with red braids and gold chains pops out holding a microphone. He waves. LIL YACHTY: Those are my braids, alien. Lil Yachty stands in outer space in front of the spinning Earth. INTERVIEWER: Hey, Yachty. Tell 'em where you about to take it to next. LIL YACHTY: I see myself going worldwide. Nah, intergalactic. The Earth zooms into a starry vortex. Then, next to an infomercial price graphic, Lil Yachty holds up cologne. LIL YACHTY: Doing commercials. Folded tee-shirts show Lil Yachty's face. LIL YACHTY: Clothing lines. A Hollywood star is engraved with Lil Yachty's name. LIL YACHTY: TV, movies. Even Yachty video games. A retro video game cover shows Lil Yachty riding a whale and reads "Yachty's World" in bright letters. A red logo at the bottom reads "Keep It Fresh." LIL YACHTY: Yachty cologne. A cologne bottle features Yachty's face and a classy logo behind it reads, "Cologne by Yachty." LIL YACHTY.: Everything. Imma be iconic, man. While steering a yacht through a starry vortex, a painting of the Mona Lisa with Yachty's face drifts by, then a stone Yachty sphinx. LIL YACHTY: Imma have my own music awards. A golden Grammy with Lil Yachty's head coming out of it floats past, then a snowy mountain carved with Yachty's face. LIL YACHTY: Monumental. Bigger than Mount Everest. Lil Yachty's head floats around outer space with neon comets and slices of pepperoni pizza. LIL YACHTY: I'm taking over with Yachty's universe. His voice echoes as the comets make laser sounds. LIL YACHTY: And one thing that's not in it is tobacco. Lil Yachty sits in front of the blank green screen surrounded by photo lights and a microphone. LIL YACHTY: But stay locked and loaded. You're watching Lil Boat TV. We here with Fresh Empire, keeping it fresh and staying tobacco- free until the day we go. The interviewer watches from behind the camera. Then Lil Yachty leans back in his chair and points straight ahead. LIL YACHTY: Until next time, we out. INTERVIEWER: Ha! Cut! We got it. The interviewer stands and walks onto the set. He high fives Lil Yachty and pats his back. INTERVIEWER: You did it. LIL YACHTY: Let's go get some pizza. Come on! As they head off the set, a triangle-shaped graphic with a star unfolds to reveal a logo. More logos appear for Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube. ON SCREEN TEXT: FRESH EMPIRE KEEP IT FRESH.
